Men At Work have officially kicked off their Australian tour run, launching the Red Hot Summer Tour this past weekend with performances in Toowoomba and Bribie Island. The band now looks ahead to a packed schedule of festival appearances and headline shows across Australia.
The Red Hot Summer Tour continues throughout October and November, bringing Men At Work to outdoor stages across the country alongside a lineup of special guests. The band will also perform a series of headline shows, beginning October 20 at Sydney’s State Theatre, with additional stops in Canberra, Melbourne, Fremantle, and Newcastle.
Joining Colin Hay on stage is a lineup of returning musicians who have been part of Men At Work’s recent touring lineup. Rachel Mazar contributes saxophone, keyboards, and flute, while Yosmel Montejo holds down the low end on bass. Jimmy Branly brings the rhythm on drums, and Cecilia Noël adds percussion and backing vocals. Allen Hinds is the newest addition to the touring lineup, taking over lead guitar duties.
